The public is warmly invited to attend an opening reception of Janet’s paintings at Java Dragon Coffee House on December 7, 2012 from 5 – 7:30 pm. The show, Heart and Whimsy,  is a part of the Charlottesville tradition of First Friday art exhibitions and it will include new pieces and other favorites. Fans of her work regularly find it evocative of  that of Matisse and Chagall,  and commonly viewers report feeling both soothed and uplifted when attending Janet’s shows.
