Dreamscapes, soothing vibrant colors, textures surfaces, and now landscapes. Janet paints guided by an inner presence. Stroke by stroke she is inspired to apply color and form, calling on her 37 years of painting experience as she goes.

During the month of February interested viewers can see Janet’s art in three locations in the Charlottesville area. Each exhibit is free and open to the public ( check specified open hours):

1.  On February 7, 2014 from 5:30 to 7 pm all are invited to an opening reception of Janet’s art show Mining Divine Connection at Writerhouse, 508 Dale Ave, Charlottesville, located behind Bodos on Preston Ave. In this exhibit Janet’s work will be grouped in three rooms to reflect the development of her work over time and will feature her new work with landscape from the 2013 year of painting.

2. Hanging for three months beginning January 16, Janet Pearlman is a featured artist at MarthaJeffersonHospital and her work is included in art tours of the hospital. Please look for her exhibit on the second floor of the main hospital building.

3. Over the Moon Bookstore currently has 14 pieces of Janet’s work on display. This show features work from 2008 to 2013, including a featured landscape entitled TaylorCreek which is receiving much attention from viewers. Over the Moon Bookstore is located at 5798 Three Notch’d Road,  ( rte 240), Crozet, Va .

3. Over the Moon Bookstore currently has 14 pieces of Janet’s work on display. This show features work from 2008 to 2013, including a featured landscape entitled TaylorCreek which is receiving much attention from viewers. Over the Moon Bookstore is located at 5798 Three Notch’d Road,  ( rte 240), Crozet, Va .

1. Writerhouse: consult the writerhouse.org website. The hours vary each day. Arrangement may be made for viewing the work by appointment.

2. Martha Jefferson Hospital is open every day including weekends.

3. Over the Moon Bookstore is open 10 -6: Sunday noon to 5.
