Relax and Delegate to Source

See what happened:

Eloise works in a cooperative office space, renting one of the units in the suite. To her delight it has lots of empty walls for the beautiful art she creates, and her office mates enjoy the light and beauty that emanate from her work as they walk in the corridors.

I was still feeling it. I distracted myself some and still it persisted.

What to do?

Chart to Uplift

On a pad, I created two columns. 1) list what thoughts are running on the left column, 2) in the right I respond as though I was helping someone else.

Delight on Its Way – Repost

The horizon line was bright with oranges and yellows.

As my eyes rose, I beheld layers of color, purples in stripes, all through the clouds. The sky was completely infused with color. Extraordinary and Delightful!

More than ten years ago I experienced a similar effect. A glance out the window,

Seeing as Inner Being Sees

Can I calm my reactions to other’s words or behavior when it is not the way I want it to be? Can I shift my perception and become receptive to Good?

From my cultural training at times I react– in my head I hear they “should” say something else–

Reframing an “Insult” Helps Me Feel Better

Feeling hurt and disappointment, his words did not meet my models for respect.

I had not seen him for many months. In my mind if you travel 2 hours to come to this area, you visit me– end of discussion. If he liked me, he would.

Well he got a job to his delight and with his available time went to visit 25-year friends instead of me.
